We decided to give this place a shot for a dinner for 7 (they take reservations). FANTASTIC! A must try! We have ate at a few restaurants in Clearwater but weren't amazed but this one was by far terrific! For some starters we ordered the salsa trio which came with chips, guacamole and 2 salsas (guacamole was delish), turkey and Brie donut holes (sound interesting but are shockingly amazing), chicken nachos and a think crust cheese pizza. They were all great! As our entrees we ordered spaghetti, chicken burrito bowl (without beans because we aren't a fan of beans! And we mixed in sour cream instead), chicken quesadillas, spicy ground beef burrito, chicken Alfredo. They catered to many of our need quickly and had great service! They brought out lemons immediately after we requested them along with requested donut holes for the kiddos. Anyways, this is a must try when searching for a good restaurant and is a very nice location next door to a great dessert place as well!

free music - and good music too. I listened to an excellent guitarist who was playing the next night with his band at Sea World. Wonderful atmosphere out on the sidewalk drinking wine and listening to music.

Great food, great prices, fun environment. Works for family dinner or date night. Was there during their anniversary celebration and they did free drawings and had live entertainment.

Clearwater Wine Bar and Bistro at Clearwater Beach consistently delivers sumptuous meals, terrific craft beers and has an amazing wine list that doesn't break the bank!! The restaurant is cozy and the service is always impeccable. We are locals who are very particular about where we will go out to eat and Clearwater Wine Bar and Bistro never disappoints!

Great local wine bar, outdoor courtyard with live music, terrific wine selection and they serve craft beers. My favorite place in Clearwater Beach. If you haven't been its a must go.. the people, food and wine are all amazing.. it has the best food on the beach! The shrimp tacos are awesome! Good place to take a date or enjoy in the company of great friends.. Clearwater Wine Bar and Bistro is a definite must do if you are in the area on vacation!!!

Was looking for good food, but nothing too touristy while wandering the beach, and found this place courtesy of other users on Yelp. It was a nice, warm evening when I arrived, so I opted to sit outside. There were plenty of seats inside, but I wanted to enjoy the pleasant weather. Of note: there seemed to be a cigar smoking area in the vicinity, so I smelled the occasional waft of cigar smoke. Just a warning to those that might be sensitive. I ordered the brandied shrimp as an appetizer, and it certainly lived up to the name. Lots of shrimp and strong brandy flavoring! For entrée, I ordered the burrito bowl, and while it may sound similar to what you'd get at a chain, the quality of this dish was much better, with fresher ingredients. The portion size was good too. As it is a wine bar, there weren't too many non-alcoholic drink options. Overall, the meal was a good experience, and I would return in the future to try something different!

I saw all the Yelp reviews and said, I have to try this place out! Unfortunately even though they serve wine until they close, they do not serve food until close. So we were unable to try out anything on the menu. Bummer. It would be really helpful if they listed that fact on their website. It would be extra spectacular if they had a late night menu. However we were already there and the atmosphere inside was so quaint that we decided to stay for a glass of wine. We had a lot of fun sitting at the bar inside looking at the beautiful display of the wine. Our server was so friendly and he definitely gave us a generous pour. We will try to stop in again on our next trip.

Overall really liked this place. The food portions were the perfect amount, the prices very reasonable, and the options had a nice twist to some traditional options with great flavor. The burrito bowl and tacos were both excellent and the homemade salsa was delicious. They have several different wines to chose from as well as draft beers. We did the local beer sampler all of which would definitely order again. Another great find through the help of the help community.

Nice easy atmosphere late in the evening. Unique menu priced right. Service a bit slow, but then again, I was hungry.

Terrible food. Ordered the flatbread pizza with proscuitto and fig and got a toasted burrito wrapper for pizza crust with cheese and red saice and arugula on it- no proscuitto or figs. Cheese board was lame and the shrimp tacos were terrible. My sister was celebrating her 40th birthday there and it ruined the event. The sangria was bitter and had NO fruit in it (wtf?). The wine selection was awful too. This place reminds me less of a wine bar and more of a restaurant that can only serve wine and beer becausr they couldn't get a full liquor license. Also, even though it was clear we were a group out for a special occasion, the waiter could have cared less. When our drinks were empty he just ignored us and ate his own dinner at the bar (9pm on a Saturday night, fyi). Don't waste your time here...total dive....

Fantastic experience! 35 wines by the glass and 300 by the bottle. Great options! Superb service and they will serve you whatever makes you happy. They even chill your wine to the adequate temperature!!! Best gem in Clearwater if you enjoy wine! Also great good! The shrimp starter is indescribably satisfying:)

We got here at 5 on a weekday and were the only ones there. I was really looking forward to trying some different wines, but no wine flights. I thought that was odd for a wine bar, but anywho. We were killing some time before meeting up with friends, so we got two glasses of whites and split their nachos. The wine was unremarkable, but it was refreshing enough for a hot day out. The chipotle chicken nachos were good, but I thought the chipotle sauce was a little too sweet for me and overpowered the nachos a little bit. There were only two guys manning the bistro when we arrived. They were amicable, not overly welcoming or chatty - they let us kick back and were unobtrusive. I guess our first visit was limited and our experience seemed stunted, especially given the great reviews; they might warrant a second try.

Good food, nice service, and extremely fast! Definitely a good vibe. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because the prices are little high for the portions. Other than that, definitely worth stopping by.

The best restaurant in Clearwater! Great wine (so many options), happy hour specials (5-7), and an outstanding menu (Mexican and Mediterranean dishes). We had great service. This is the perfect, cozy atmosphere to enjoy drinks and a delicious meal. I can't wait to come back!

I love this place ! I've been here in Clearwater on vacation for 4 days and I've eaten at other locations that I would not recommend. But THIS wine bar & bistro is stupendous! I had a chopped bbq chicken salad and my family had some pastas and pizzas. We all licked our plates clean. If you're looking for somewhere to eat I definitely recommend this spot. The service is all smiles. Simply wonderful!!!

What a nice little surprise! We were looking for something not so touristy & this was it. I had the burrito bowl & the wife had the shrimp tacos. Both being somewhat of a Mexican food experts, we both loved our meals. We sat outside & there was a nice acoustic musician playing that completed the laid back atmosphere. The only complaint.... The burrito bowl cam with chips & when it came out, they only gave me 6 chips? Once those were gone it about a minute I asked for more. The waitress brought out 6 more chips?! 6 chips? Overall....we'll be back the next time we are in town!!

Quaint, beautiful little hole in the wall place. The humble yet gorgeous arrangement of wine and dining seating arrangement was unique. I especially loved the bacon spaghetti! It wasn't quite filling though, I desperately wanted more. The price was decent, you get what you pay for but what I really love was how unique the meal ideas were! There is something for everyone, especially if you love trying new stuff! I also wish this place was bigger, its a very small room.

Average or below average food. Went for dinner after reading yelp reviews. Ordered nachos which were chips with microwaved cheese I top. Don't waste your money on this place.

My wife and I stopped by on our Clearwater trip last weekend. It's rather small inside, but kept well, and has more seating out front. The food was very good, but the portions were small for the prices. The happy hour was decent, as was the wine selection. I was also impressed they had a good selection of local drafts on tap. The staff was friendly, but a little slow and not on top of the ball. For the area though, it's worth stopping by.

Great food, great service, nice wine list, but holy shit just hope the wind is not blowing g north because the cigar bar next door is gross. Ruined out meal.

Absolutely awesome! The Salmon Crostini and the Mexican Burrito Bowl were so fresh and tasted amazing. The Burrito Bowl was served on cilantro-infused saffron rice and it tasted just as wonderful as it sounds. My boyfriend had the Margherita Pizza, which was light, fresh and excellent as well. This is an almost hidden gem on the main drag in Clearwater Beach and is a must for anyone looking for a fresh meal with fabulous flavor. The service was by the owners, I believe, and they were friendly and our food was served promptly and beautifully arranged. Tasted even better than it looked! Awesome wine selection, and great beer selection, too. We had a flight of four draft beers for $7, a great deal. Highly recommend this place!

The wine selection is excellent and the cheese platter was fantastic. Service was a bit slow. I would suggest sitting inside for better service

Stopped in for beer and quick bite. Had the shrimp tacos at the suggestion of the waitress. Now, being on the Gulf Coast of Florida, you'd think it would be big juicy shrimp. Nope. Tiny little popcorn sized shrimp?? Really?? Tasted just...alright. Waitress was very friendly, and kept my glass full. Craft beer selection on-tap saved the day. Beer DOES make things better. Sitting outside on the patio with live singer/guitarist was nice. 1 star for the food, 4 stars for the service, 4 stars for the beer.

Cute little place! Loved the atmosphere. Can sit inside at a high top table or outside on the patio. The turkey and brie donut hole sliders were a reason in itself to go back! Nachos were delicious and desserts were fantastic. Highly recommend the butterfinger cake!

One word = AH MAZ ING! Clearwater Wine Bar is a place that I am at at LEAST once a week. The burrito is my favorite dish however I have tried everything on the menu about 3 times. The wine selection is huge and reasonably priced. The location is across from the beach so you can see some amazing sunsets. Heated outdoor patio for colder nights and FREE live music every weekend. Very clean facility and amazing staff. You MUST try this if you are any where near Clearwater!

This is a great place when you can eat outside because it doubles the total space! I had the Greek salad and it was very good. My wife had the "Californian" which is smoked salmon with tomatoes and cream cheese on toasted bread. She enjoyed it. Prices are reasonable. Staff is friendly. Lots of great wine to choose. Overall a very nice place.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
